Louisville Reels — Booking Policies & What to Expect 🌹
We are so excited to create with you at the World’s Championship Horse Show! Because of the incredible number of reel requests we have received, we have created the following policies to keep our shooting schedule organized and make sure we can provide the best possible coverage for every horse on our list.
Reel Pricing
- $400 — One reel featuring footage from one class
- $600 — One reel featuring footage from two classes
- For horses showing in a qualifier and then qualifying for a championship, your initial $400 payment secures filming of your first confirmed class.
- If your horse qualifies and you would like championship footage added to the same reel, we will send you a link for the remaining $200 payment.
- You will receive one finished reel incorporating footage from both classes.
Confirmed Bookings
- Payment of your initial $400 confirms your reel placement for the specific class we currently have listed for you.
- We are focusing primarily on in-ring performance footage and are limiting our schedule to a maximum of three booked horses per class.
- Please make sure we have the correct class information for your horse.
- If your class plans change, text us at 843-743-1941 as soon as possible.
- If your horse shows in a class that we were not informed they would be showing in, we cannot guarantee that a shooter will be prepared to film them.
- Missing footage because of an unreported class change is not eligible for a refund.
If Your Horse Does Not Show
We understand that plans can change at a horse show.
- If you know your horse will not be showing at all and notify us before the beginning of that session, we will refund your reel payment in full.
- If your horse does not show and we are able to fill your reserved spot with someone from our wait list, we will also refund your payment in full.
- If your horse does not show and we are not notified before the session begins, we cannot provide a refund. At that point, we have reserved shooting capacity for your horse and may have turned away another booking.
Championships
- If your horse qualifies for its championship and you would like that class added to your reel, we will send you a $200 championship payment link.
- Please let us know as soon as your qualification and championship plans are confirmed so we can update our shooting schedule.
- Championship filming is subject to our per-class scheduling capacity.
Wait List
Because many classes are currently full, we are maintaining an active wait list.
- If a confirmed opening becomes available, we will contact the next available person on the wait list as quickly as possible.
- If we contact you with an available spot and you accept it, your reel becomes a regular confirmed booking subject to the pricing above.
- There may also be situations where we do not know that a spot has opened until horses enter the ring.
- By choosing to remain on our wait list, you are giving Saddlethreads permission to film your horse if shooting capacity unexpectedly becomes available and your horse enters the class.
- If we film your horse from the wait list, you agree to purchase that reel at the applicable reel price.
- In other words: remaining on the wait list means, “If you have room to shoot me, shoot me — and I will pay for the reel.”
Divisions With Multiple Possible Classes
Some divisions have several possible qualifying classes, and many horses are entered in more than one of them. Because our availability depends entirely on which horses ultimately choose each class, we may not be able to confirm every booking or wait-list position until those decisions are made.
If you are in one of these divisions:
- Please text 843-743-1941 as soon as you know which class you will actually be showing in.
- Until we know your class, your placement may remain pending rather than confirmed.
- We will organize confirmed bookings and wait-list availability as class plans become final.

- Tell us your class as soon as you know it; and
- Purchase the reel if we are able to accommodate and film your horse.
Production & Delivery Timeline
- Highlights, snippets, and behind-the-scenes content may be posted during the World’s Championship Horse Show. Seeing footage of your horse posted during the show does not necessarily mean that your completed reel is finished.
- We will begin working on reels immediately and will continue editing throughout and following Louisville.
- Completed reels will begin going out as soon as we are home, rested, unpacked, and back to our regular production setup.
- Please allow up to one month following the conclusion of the World’s Championship Horse Show for delivery of your completed reel.
- Many reels may be completed and delivered well before that deadline, but with the volume of horses we are filming, we want to give every reel the time, attention, and artistic editing it deserves.
- Reels will not necessarily be completed in the order classes occurred. Our editing schedule may be organized based on footage, workload, content needs, and production efficiency.
- We know you will be excited to see your reel — we will be excited to show it to you! We simply ask that you allow us the full production window before checking on the status of your completed reel.
One Very Important Thing
Our shooting schedule is being built around the class information provided to us by each client. With three shooters, hundreds of entries, overlapping schedules, and a maximum of three reel horses per class, communication is essential.
If anything changes — class, rider, scratch, qualification, championship plans, etc. — please text 843-743-1941 as soon as possible.

Once the products are released to the shipping carrier, Saddlethreads cannot control or guarantee shipping time. However, we always work with shipping carriers to provide us with the most accurate shipping calculators possible, and our orders have approximately a 98% on-time delivery success rate.
For example, if you order a sweatshirt and it arrives with the incorrect design printed on it, we will provide you with a replacement product free of charge. But, if you order a sweatshirt without checking the size chart, and the sweatshirt was correctly made and printed, but it does not fit you, we cannot authorize a refund or replacement product.
